Within the framework of efforts to strengthen partnership and integration between the academic and professional sectors, the College of Dentistry at the University of Tikrit received an official delegation from the Dentists’ Syndicate of Salah al-Din Governorate, headed by a number of members of the Syndicate’s Council, where they were welcomed by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Raheel.
The visit aimed to explore prospects for joint cooperation in the fields of medical education, training, and professional development, as well as to discuss effective means of supporting recent graduates and enabling them to integrate into the labor market. The meeting witnessed a fruitful discussion on a number of initiatives that would enhance the quality of medical education and elevate the professional standards of the dental profession in Iraq.
Both parties emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous communication and coordination between the Syndicate and the College, with a focus on organizing joint workshops and scientific seminars that contribute to achieving genuine integration between the theoretical and practical aspects of education.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Syndicate delegation expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception and constructive cooperation, commending the College’s role in preparing qualified medical cadres capable of serving the community and advancing the dental profession.
