About the Department
The Periodontics Department is dedicated to training fourth and fifth-year students in the treatment of periodontal diseases. This is achieved through a theoretical component that explains concepts, types, and treatment modalities, and a clinical component that focuses on diagnosis, as well as surgical and non-surgical treatments under the supervision of specialized faculty members at the College's Teaching Hospital.

Mission
To provide specialized care and treatment for patients with diseases of the gums and supporting dental tissues, including surgery, consultations, scientific research, and training students on the latest therapeutic techniques.
Department Objectives
- Efficiently diagnose and treat periodontal diseases and provide periodontal surgery.
- Develop surgical skills among students and resident dentists.
