About the Department
The Basic Sciences Department has been the foundational cornerstone of the College of Dentistry since its establishment in 2004. It is responsible for teaching all supporting and core basic courses to undergraduate students. The department aims to provide students with essential scientific knowledge, support scientific research, and stimulate critical thinking and deduction. This contributes to preparing distinguished medical and technical dental professionals capable of serving the community with high efficiency.

Mission
Providing the necessary scientific foundation to understand basic sciences such as Anatomy, Physiology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and others, enabling students to apply scientific knowledge in the clinical field.
