As part of the University of Tikrit’s commitment to promoting academic quality concepts and enhancing institutional performance, the College of Dentistry hosted, on the morning of Wednesday, July 2, 2025, a scientific workshop titled “Classification of Academic Departments in Iraqi Universities 2025”, delivered by Professor Dr. Arkan Bar’a Mohammed, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department.
The workshop was organized by the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, and was held in the College of Dentistry’s conference hall. It was attended by a number of faculty members, as well as heads and staff of Quality Assurance and Performance Divisions from all colleges of the University of Tikrit, alongside the college’s staff members.
The guest lecturer was welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Shaimaa Issa, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ghazwan Mahdi, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, who emphasized the importance of this workshop in developing academic work mechanisms in line with university ranking requirements, thereby enhancing the university’s standing among its peers.
